Part 3 of 3

Rom 3:1 Then what's the advantage of being a Jew? Is there any value in the ceremony of circumcision? Rom 3:2 Yes, there are great benefits! First of all, the Jews were entrusted with the whole revelation of God.

The Jews are now asking what good is it to be a Jew? Pau counter with the point that they were entrusted with the whole revelation of God. Someone had to start showing the world that there was only one God. Remember God destroy everyone except Noah and his family. He promised that he would never do that again Genesis 9:11. Jews will ultimately teach the world about Jesus. Rev_14:3 (Redeemed the earth is how it is said)

Rom 3:3 True, some of them were unfaithful; but just because they were unfaithful, does that mean God will be unfaithful? Rom 3:4 Of course not! Even if everyone else is a liar, God is true. As the Scriptures say about Him, "You will be proved right in what you say, and You will win Your case in court."

Paul’s statement that some people are unfaithful pales in front of the truth. The Jews failed God over and over in the old testament (Psa_116:11) by suppressing the truth (Rom_1:18), exchanging the truth for a lie (Rom_1:25), and rejecting the truth (Rom_2:8), doesn’t change the deeper fact that God is true. God’s purpose for Israel and his plan for all people) by suppressing the truth (Rom_1:18), exchanging the truth for a lie (Rom_1:25), and rejecting the truth (Rom_2:8), doesn’t change the deeper fact that God is true. God’s purpose for Israel and his plan for all people

Rom 3:5 "But," some might say, "our sinfulness serves a good purpose, for it helps people see how righteous God is. Isn't it unfair, then, for Him to punish us?" (This is merely a human point of view.) Rom 3:6 Of course not! If God were not entirely fair, how would He be qualified to judge the world? Rom 3:7 "But," someone might still argue, "how can God condemn me as a sinner if my dishonesty highlights His truthfulness and brings Him more glory?" Rom 3:8 And some people even slander us by claiming that we say, "The more we sin, the better it is!" Those who say such things deserve to be condemned.

When I read this it was such a dumb argument that I almost didn’t want to say anything. Who in their right mind would say to a righteous God, I am help you out by sinning? And since I am helping I expect to go to heaven also.,yeah right. If I don’t pay my taxes Uncle Sam will be happy to leave me be. People want to hang onto their ways so badly that they can justify almost anything, there was a case on Television news the other day where a woman threatened her husband with a knife. So he waited and later ran her over with a car. He thought it was just. Really can anyone be that stupid, and the answer is yes they can.
