RESTORE WANDERING BELIEVERS
James 5:19-20
James 5:19 My dear brothers and sisters,
if someone among you wanders away from the truth and is brought back, James 5:20 you
can be sure that whoever brings the sinner back will save that person from
death and bring about the forgiveness of many sins.
This is the end of James and I will have
to select another book. James ends with a request that we help others return to
Christ. If you remember Mathew 28. Mat
28:18 Jesus
came and told His disciples, "I have been given
all authority in heaven and on earth. Mat 28:19 Therefore, go and
make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and
the Son and the Holy Spirit. Mat 28:20 Teach these new
disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am
with you always, even to the end of the age."
We were told by Christ to go out and
make disciples for him. That is our goal to see everyone have a chance to see Heaven.
The alternative is unspeakable. Pray today for a lost soul and see if God can bring
that person back. Remember it is you and the Holy Spirit that are a team. You are
not alone.
